The Fund's investment strategy is to invest in joint-stock companies or limited liability companies, whether publicly listed or privately held, that have high growth potential and require the strengthening of their financial structure, by providing capital or acquiring equity interests. The Fund may also establish and become the founder of venture companies. Where the Fund invests in companies incorporated abroad, such companies are not required to be joint-stock companies or limited liability companies. The Fund may also invest in debt instruments issued by venture companies, as well as lease certificates (sukuk) issued in compliance with the principles of Islamic finance, where such venture companies act as the fund users.
